- Participative style
- Soft style
- Assumes motivation is the need to fulfill social, esteem, self-actualization and security
- Workers are creative and eager to work
- Workers respond to favorable working conditions
- Workers desire responsibility
- Workers see work as a natural activity
- Assumes work is as natural as play or rest
- Strong desire to participate in decision making
- Involved with organizational planning
